In no particular order, here is a list of some of my favorite sites to visit relating to my hobbies.
Of course, the sites I sell my digital products at the top of my list. Not only because I sell there, but they are great sites. They are run by really nice people, who love what they are doing. They have been lucky enough to find people who share their passion to work with them. It doesn't get much better than that.
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) These are very popular little (2.5" x 3.5") pieces of ART created for trading. I love making them - either collaged, painted, stamped, digital or hybrid. When people ask me about ATCs, I send them directly to this site: Art In Your Pocket. It explains just about everything you need to know about ATCs.
(Shameless plug - most of my Altered Fragment Line brushes and digital stamps work really well for creating ATCs. Use them to create a background, print and go from there. Print words, frames or images on ink-jet transparencies -- remember to flip before printing -- and use staples, eyelets or brads to attach them to your ATC bases. The list goes on and on.)
Thinking Inking Now this one should be on my BlogRoll, but I wanted to give it even more importance than that. This is a blog that I actually SUBSCRIBE to, as Debbie Olson creates the most amazing hand made cards, and posts them on her blog. It makes me smile every time I see she has a new post.
Canada Type I use these fonts daily - they are beautiful.
OUTRIGHT COMMUNICATIONS This is a company in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada) who helped me build my website. They were great to work with, and they've given me the information I need to be able to change the look of my site whenever I feel the urge. :-) They do a lot more than create websites though -- logos, brochures and marketing are right up their alley. I was so impressed, I asked for some information to put on my link page.
